Cherry.

Now that she's received it, I can show you the cherry pendant I made for my friend Andrea for her birthday. It was fun to pull out the ole jeweler's saw and sheet sterling. The pendant has been hammered, antiqued, and also spent some time in the rock tumbler.

We're going to take a break from painting for the next two weekends. This weekend I'm meeting up with my friend Rachel to go to an art fair. Mark and N. are going to take the train downtown and hang out in Chicago. I'm hoping on Sunday we can just relax. I've had a very bad headache for the past several days and I'm ready to sit back and do nothing. I have a feeling the reality will be trying to sneak in some relaxing time between doing laundry and cleaning the house!

Enjoy your weekend!

Oh dear - I hope you feel better soon! Rest up. Get away from those paint fumes. : )
