Paper houses.

N has been making a lot of paper houses. He makes single homes that can be put on a shelf for display...

He makes larger groups of homes that are portable, but too large for a shelf...

He makes model homes and subdivisions that remain under construction...

He makes homes of all shapes and sizes...

He makes entire neighborhoods...

I love this bright green house with pink shutters and orange sidewalk in the middle of lighter-colored houses.

Nearly everywhere you step in our basement you are in danger of crushing a house. It's amazing.

Burnished Blossoms.

Here's a class by Diane Hyde that I wish I was taking at Bead & Button.

Scattered Light.

One of my favorite vendors at Bead & Button was Scattered Light Jewelry. I loved their booth and bought something from them every year until they stopped showing there. One year I bought a silver flower, not sure what I would do with it. The next year I bought another one, thinking I'd make earrings.

All these years later I've finally made them.

Another mosaic picture.

This is the other mosaic picture I kept for myself.

Mosaic.

Over the summer I tried my hand at mosaics.

I made a lot of mosaic flower pictures and gave some to family members and friends for Christmas. My hand was sore for weeks from cutting all the flowers from the plates. It was fun to do something different and I have other mosaic ideas floating around in my mind--some that are jewelry related.

This is one I kept for myself. I have one more that I'll share next time.
