Snow day.

It's a snow day here for me and for N. I'd say that was a smart call all around; in the five seconds it took me to stick my arm out the door for this photo, my arm was covered in snow! It's really blowing. And it's also pretty icy outside.

When I look outside my windows, most of the time all I see is white. I think it's a good time to pick up on my bead project again.

N.'s been enjoying the snow day by making craft projects. Those pink and purple balls of crumpled paper are the eggs from the two birds.

I received the Fern painting the other day. I hung her right outside the kitchen, on a wall viewable from the family room and dining area. It's a little dark in here today, so I don't think you get the full effect of the blue in the sky. I feel like I need to lower the painting a little bit. What do you think?

I found this vase at an antique shop yesterday.

N. wants to play with his friends a few houses down from us and I'm trying to decide if I want to brave the storm to walk him there. It's fierce out there!

While I'm thinking about it I'm off to fold laundry and then back to beading.

dang..look at all that snow! I just can't even imagine!

I love N's little project..and all the tape..hehe! Reminds me of my Camerons projects when he was a little guy.

I love your's very pretty..what a cool find! The picture is hard to tell if it's up to high...but my girlfreind who used to apprentice for an interrior decorator..she said that when we let our hubbies hang pics they are usually too small..they should be eye level. I guess if you are really tall..then eye level would be up high! ;-)

so what is your beading project? It looks like you are gonna sew beads onto something?

Brrrrr! I don't miss the coldness of all that snow - but it is pretty to look at.

I love your painting, table, vase arrangement.

You could have a party to celebrate your recovery and put a big bouquet of red roses in that vase!

Lovely! : )
