More thrift finds.

I'm so excited about this little silver bowl I found. I love the shape of it. I keep going back and forth about cleaning it up; I like the patina, but I'd probably really like all spiffed up, too. What do you think?

And look at this sweet teacup and saucer! You can't tell from the photo, really, but it's actually quite small. First I found the four teacups and then, with a bit of scrounging around, I found the four matching saucers as well!

I'm not sure what I'll do with them. I had planned to give them to my niece, but she may have outgrown playing "tea time."

I haven't found any beads or jewelry I wanted to take apart yet while thrifting. I might have to go to the bead store today. I'm in the mood to look at pretty sparkly things.

Okay, I'm getting worried now. How often do you go to the thrift shop?

I got these a few weeks ago. I probably stop there once a week because it's on my way to the library and cleaners. I'm actually getting a little worried myself. :)

I say polish the silver. It will tarnish again in case you decide you like it better that way.

i agree with Sarah. It will always tarnish again. Are those little cups, espresso cups? They are soo lovely. You are doing great with your thrifting. Keep it up.

I don't know, I hadn't thought of them being espresso cups. They are the right size, though - that's probably what they are! I just thought they were small teacups.
