I've never been on a flight and seen someone famous in first class. Once I saw Al Franken at a marketing conference, I'm told I saw Gary Coleman when I was very young (He was born in Zion, IL and I think his family lived there for a while, maybe they still do. I went to kindergarten in Zion before we moved, which is around the time I saw him.) But yesterday as I was standing in the aisle of the plane waiting for the line to move so I could get to my seat, I heard someone speaking and I knew I recognized the voice. I looked around and saw Fred Savage sitting nearby talking on his cell phone! Cool! No one else really seemed to notice him.

On all my flights to California I didn't see one famous person. On a flight from Minneapolis to Chicago, Fred Savage. Go figure.
