Last week I was playing around on
Etsy and came across the
imogeneANDannie shop. (Does anyone else find that they can lose hours in their day browsing
Etsy?) Even though I make jewelry, I buy a fair amount of it as well when I see something I like.
Annie's designs are really pretty and fun. As I told you earlier, lately birds seems to be overtaking my house, so at first I was seriously considering one of her
bird necklaces.
But then, I fell in love with this.

Annie was kind enough to let me use the photo from her shop. I received it today and I think it's the sweetest little tree. It's inspiring me to doodle and maybe pull out my sheets of silver and the
ol' jeweler's saw.
She also has a wonderful
blog. Check her out!

That is really a cute tree. So clean and simple instead of fussy. Good buy.
I'm liking it a lot too.
You should pull out your sheet stuff - I bet you'd make some inspired pretties. :)
Sorry the schedule doesn't work out for The Pot Shop. You may want to check out Lillstreet Art Center (it's in Ravenswood). They appear to have a "family wheel" class on Sunday. I'm not sure how old the kids have to be, though... Wheel throwing is not as easy as it looks (in my humble opinion - it takes a decent amount of arm and hand strength), but once you get the knack of it, it's quite fun.
