Earrings.
I received this pair of earrings for my birthday last year from my friend Lisa. She made these from sterling silver and included the crystal for a touch of sparkle. She holds some of the credit for really getting me started down this road. She has a great eye and makes some really fabulous jewelry.

Hi Christina, Thanks for your comment. I didn't see an email link for you, so I am going to put a note for you here. LOL I used an index card to make the butterfly shape, but you may be right and cardboard might work better. (But cutting the shape would be hard?)
I had thought about a pipe cleaner, but I am afraid Jack isn't quite dextrous enough to make gluey buttons stick to a pipe cleaner.
