Yes, it has happened to me. this is exactly why I am loath to order on line. I know that there is more selection and I am able to find things I wouldn't otherwise but it just isn't the same. I am just one of those people who needs to see the beads themselves, hold them. Then I can see what I am going to make and if it will work or not. I am sure that you will find something to do with them. Right size or not, they are lovely.
Even though the listing aptly described the size, for some reason they were larger than what I was thinking. Has that ever happened to you?
