The piece is done in peyote stitch. The two panels were sewn together to create an amulet bag. As you can see, Amy also did a fair amount of work on the strap.
Each panel is about the size of the My Sweet Rose piece I showed you earlier.
It's a large piece and a lot of work went into it. It's very lovely and I was sad to give it back to my mom when I was finished taking pictures of it.Don't you think she should let me keep it?

Wow, that is amazing. I can't imagine the time that went into it. I don't think I would have the patience. *sigh*
I agree - a lot of work and lot of time. The result is beautiful - bear looks so real!
Wow. I had to look twice and then I saw a bear!
BTW, I hope the buttons arrived safely. I was a bit worried since I didn't have time to find a box in all the craziness over here.
