Cross Stitch Brooch: An Initial.

Here's the last piece from this latest look into my mom's jewelry box. It's been fun and I think I need to rummage around in her things again at some point in the future to find more to share! So many of her pieces hold fond memories.

Mom and I share the first initial of our names. Before I married, we shared all the same initials and have the same middle name. If I'd had a girl, I would have carried that on with her.

I could have passed this down to her as my mom did to me.

I love 'Initial' jewelry when there are flowers entwined about the letter.

Do you have any of your early pieces that you can show us?? Would love to see them.

I came across my very first piece the other day. I'll have to rummage around and see what I can find. :)

This is really sweet! Also love the flowers entwined. How big is this brooch?

It is almost 1-1/2 inches wide and 2 inches tall. It's pretty large. I've been wearing it as a pendant instead of a brooch. I like brooches, but I just don't wear them very often.

I LOVE this! I am actually working on a line of embroidered initial necklaces. Fun to see this vintage piece!
