Of wood and sequins.

After being overcome by the sparkly wall at M & J Trimmings, I visited several stores, but only bought this wooden pendant and some greenish sequins. I'm not sure what it is about bead stores in New York that makes me want to buy sequins.

See you Friday.

i think it is the touching factor that gets me in bead stores. i just went to the one here in town which i hate and refused to go in forever. long story. but, to touch and see the colors in person.... ahhh!!!
i may be in nyc in january... any chance you would share your list of places to shop?

Oh!..you found one of the pendants I've been looking every where for...for years! I gave up finally. It looks really close at least. I had found them in a light bone..I wanted the dark brown color. There are round and square very large beads similar to that carving too..with the flowers. I missed a strand once on an ebay auction and they never got them in again.

Can't wait to see what you do with it!

You took wonderful pictures inspite. Good thing you don't have ADHD, otherwise, they'll be dragging you outside the store coz your glued looking at all the sparkly things! How are you? haven't visited your blog in a long time. Gosh I haven't been blogging as much either. Such is life!
