Whoa, I left you a comment earlier today, and now I'm not even sure I left it on the right blog! (I was a little distracted at the time.) Just in case - try Lillstreet Art Center (www.lillstreet.com). They're in Ravenswood. It looks like they have a family wheel class on Sunday afternoons from 2-4. Wheel throwing takes a little practice (you need to have decent arm and hand strength, which was always a problem for me - I'm such a wimp), but it's very satisfying once you get the hang of it!
I'm heading out of town this weekend and will be away from the blog for a week or so.
