The term kumihimo means intersected threads. It refers to any type of braid executed using the loop-manipulation method (which does not require equipment) or any number of strands.Any number of materials may be used, including wire and fiber.The book covers all of the basics, including how to braid with round and squre disks as well as various techniques for finishing projects. It offers some historical information as well.
