I saw these vintage chandelier crystals on the front page of
Etsy one day, visited
Sweet Little, and made an impulse purchase. I don't know what I'll do with them, but then, that's sometimes what happens with impulse purchases, isn't it?
For now, I'm content to put them in a glass dish and look at them from time to time.

I hope your 2009 is filled with wonder and a whole lot of sparkle.
Cheers!

Confession here. I have tons of chandelier crystals stored away. One day I hope to weave a curtain of sparkles to be placed in a sun room or library. The details haven't been worked out, but I can see it in my mind. It looks amazing!
Can anyone ever have to many chandelier crystals? I couldn't. I love LeeAnn's idea for a curtain of them...that would be gorgoeus. I am sure whatever you do with them, even if they live in the bowl forever, will be great.
Happy New Year!
I like the sparkle! Maybe you can create a nice earrings out of them or pendant maybe? Well, just passing by to say Happy New year!
I have tons of faith in you, Christina. Some day we'll see something fantastic made from those crystals.
I love beads in a dish...beach glass in a dish is fun too!
re: comment on my blog: Oh cool..you started a jigsaw puzzle! You will have fun. It's nice to have one there waiting for everyone to work on..piece by piece it gets done. Good way to pass the time here and there and definitely encourages family conversation better then the tv! Post a picture when you finish!
Great impulse purchase- I hope you post the creation that they ultimately end up in!
if it weren't for impulse buys, i would have no beads....
I have almost all of my grandma's chandelier crystals.. we are talking boat loads of the things. Mom and I have not figured out what in the heck we are going to do with them.. yet. But they are going to have a good place around someone's neck! I just know it!
Gorgeous!
Happy New Year.
