This is what I've been working on while recuperating. It looks pretty nice as is, but it's nowhere near finished.
During my class at Bead & Button in June I saw someone wearing a really interesting cuff bracelet. It turned out that it was a design by Rachel Nelson-Smith. I tracked down Rachel because I knew that sometimes instructors sell kits during break times. I was in luck; she let me buy the Ootheca Cuff Bracelet kit.
Back to beading...

Very pretty Christina...and good to hear you're recovering:)
I went and looked at her site and found the cuff you are working on..you are right..you have a ways to go! Looks like there are so many layers of beads..it's awesome!
Ooo, interesting! I'm not going to search the kit, so it would be a surprise for me to see it when you finish it :) I find hard to make layered beadwork because every step seems so interesting as it is and sometimes it's sad to see one layer being covered up with another...
that's really pretty so far. can't wait to see it finished. glad to hear you are recovering nicely. i just got back from vacation, so i am catching up now on everything blogger-wise i have been missing.
