N.'s room has also been painted. I'll post a photo when it's all put back together. Right now, Mark is painting the family room and I'm taking a break to do laundry (and blogging, but sshhh...he doesn't know that!).There has been some time for silliness, though. I came across all kinds of things while cleaning out spaces to get ready for painting.

Did N. get to choose his room color?
He did get to choose, sort of. He had picked out a green (similar to your kitchen color from the photo you posted a while back, Jenn), then he wanted red. We chose the grey that's in his room originally for the family room, but it looked to blue-ish for me in there. N. liked the color a lot, so I suggested it for his bedroom.
